Jack did great in the church nursery. He hadn't been doing well at Watermark which is sad because I like it there. I was really worried he would be upset when we got to First Baptist this morning and one of us did cry but it wasn't him..........I think I had a little separation anxiety! When I came to pick him up he was in the corner trying to figure out how the swings turn on. He's so independent and probably going to be an engineer!!
We decided to have an egg hunt since it was going to storm and mommy wasn't feeling well. I just scattered the eggs around and let him go to see what he would do...he knew exactly how to get them and put them in his basket! He's so smart. We had another hunt for Gigi when she got home from church.
We did bubbles and played in the backyard most of the day. It never rained thank goodness!
All in all it was a wonderful day and most importantly Jack learned how much his Jesus loves him. I told him Jesus loves him even more than mommy, which is a whole lot!
This is real love. It is not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins. 1 John 4:10
